I am a writer in the DC metro area. Every now and then I teach creative writing and slam poetry classes to middle and high school students.
I was on the DC Youth Poetry Slam team in ’05 and ’06. I was a coach in ’08.
And every now and then I write.
About the blog.
I wrote 280/365 days in a row in 2010. Near the last few posts, the poems were squeezed out of places of dishonesty and laziness. I hadn’t written since then. Until I started this blog. My intention is to write a poem every week and hopefully get a few good ones out of the process.
